良いブリーダーとは。

まず、ブリーダーの定義ですが、
あいまいで ゴチャっと してますので
そこから始めます。

ブリーダー とは、、、

しかし、、、きっと ちまたでいわれてる ブリーダーは 繁殖し金儲けする人。ですね。

そういう人は本来 ブリーダーでは無く、繁殖屋です。
英語では プロデューサー。

本題に戻ります。
良いブリーダー見分け方。

自称ブリーダー という人に 質問してみましょう。

犬が欲しいのですが、いつ手に入りますか？ /
すぐ とか 数ヶ月。という場合は 黄色信号です。たまたま 時期があって という場合は問題無いと思いますが、年に何度も生ませている可能性があります。良心的なブリーダーは 短
くても半年待ち以上です。


⚪️色が欲しいのですが。。。
レアカラーを生ませて 高額に売りつけようと 無理な交配をさせ、奇形児を産ませる可能性があります。

犬舎を見せてもらえますか
清潔、柔らかすぎず 固すぎない材質の床、日の光、親と一緒である事。

親 兄弟 姉妹 にあわせてもらえますか
健康状態、性格。 清潔にされているか。



雄 雌 どちらで ブリードしてますか？
本来 どちらか片方のみ。繁殖の際は お金を出して 外からの遺伝子をいれる。
両方で、、、の場合は 近親相姦の可能性が高い。病気が遺伝しやすい。
遺伝子プールが小さい。


その犬種特有の病気はなんですか？
その病気発症を詳しく答えられ、その発症を防ぐための努力を熱く語れるか。。。



アレルギーですが、毛吹きはどうでしょうか
歯の状態は？
おじいさん、おばあさん、ひいおじいさん、ひいおばあさんは
どんな性格でしたか？病歴は？

これらの質問には 数代さかのぼって 調べられた経緯が無いと答えられないはず。
また、ブリーダーとしては 答えられるべき。この質問に答えられない、または 資料が揃っていないブリーダーは。。。。 本当に ブリーダーなのかな？



何種類繁殖していますか
本来なら 1種類。何種類もしてる人には それぞれの犬種について聞いてみること。
繁殖している種類が増えれば増えるほど お金儲け主義の可能性が高い。

もし飼えなくなったらどうしたらいいの？
ブリーダーさんが 引き取り、次の家族を探してくれる。


グルーミングはしてもらえる？
ブリーダーさんが してくれるか、もしくは 良心的なグルーマーを紹介するはず。
良心的なブリーダーは 売りっぱなしはしない。

子犬を選ばせてくれる？
ブリーダーさんが マッチングするか、数匹の中から選ばせてもらえる。
自由にどの犬でも。。。の人は 売ればいい。と思っているだけか、子犬と時間を過ごしていないか、子犬の性格を把握していないか。であろう。仔犬も家族も幸せになるよう、双方のバランスを見て マッチングしてくれるのが プロの良心的なブリーダー。

6週の仔犬が欲しいのですが。
10週での引き渡しが理想。

Dog bites what will city do?

Toronto Public Health will:

• Initiate an animal to human exposure investigation
• Contact the person who has been bitten to take a Rabies Exposure Report
• Contact the dog owner (if known) and issue an order to confine and isolate the animal

何か病気がうつらなかったかの確認

噛まれた人に狂犬病発症の有無を聞く

犬の飼い主に連絡先がある場合は、犬を他から隔離するよう伝える。

Once Toronto Animal Services receives information about a dog bite, the following happens:

• If the dog is still on the loose, an officer will respond within two hours
• if the dog is with the owner and under control, an officer will respond within 24 hours

犬が捕獲されていない場合、アニマルサービスは2時間以内に応対する。

犬が飼い主のコントロール下にある場合、アニマルサービスは 24時間以内に応対する。

Toronto Animal Services staff will support you by walking you through the process after you've been bitten by a dog. An Animal Care and Control Officer will confirm the bite, request the victim and any witness prepare a written statement detailing the biting incident, request medical documentation describing the bite wound/injury and continue the investigation.

A public health inspector will attend within 24 hours of receiving the report to quarantine the offending dog. 

The following are actions that may be taken:

Issue a Notice of Caution: 警告 

Where this is the first bite on record - recommend precautions to prevent future biting incidents.
初めての場合

Issue a Notice to Muzzle: マズル着用 @公共の場

Where the bite is severe, and/or the bite is the second subsequent bite on record.
二度目の場合、または、咬み傷が深い場合

Under Municipal Code Chapter 349, Toronto Animal Services can issue a notice to muzzle. A Notice to Muzzle requires that the dog be muzzled at all times when off the owner's property.

Request a Hearing: 要求を聴取

An owner who is served with a Notice of Caution or a Notice to Muzzle is entitled to a hearing by the Executive Director who may confirm the Notice or exempt the owner from the muzzling requirements.

What to do when a dog bites?

Dog bites should be reported to Toronto Public Health (416-338-7600) and Toronto Animal Services (311) as soon as possible. In the even that the bite victim is transported to the hospital, a bite complaint should be made as soon as possible after treatment is complete.

犬が噛んだ場合は トロント パブリック ヘルス 416-338-7600 及び トロント アニマルサービス 311 に
なるべく早く 届けねばなりません。噛まれた人が 病院へ運ばれた場合も病院での手当てが終わり次第、報告するようにしましょう。

If a dog bites you and breaks the skin:

もし、犬が噛んで 皮膚を破損した場合

• Seek medical attention (call 911 if serious)   病院へ行きましょう。救急の場合は 911
• Report the bite to 311   アニマルサービス 311へ 報告しましょう。
• Try to provide a clear description of dog  犬の情報を正確に提供しましょう。
• Obtain the dog owner's name and address  犬の飼い主の名前、住所、連絡先を聞きましょう。
• Write down the date, time and location where the bite occurred 
•  噛まれた日時、場所を記録しましょう
• Information about anyone who witnessed the bite   証明できる人の情報を得ましょう。
• Take a clear photo of the bite injury – document that date and time of the photo  
• 噛まれた箇所の写真を 鮮明にとりましょう。写真に 日時を記載しましょう。

• As soon as practical, In your own handwriting, make clear concise notes on what happened and document the date of the notes

       実際にあった出来事を簡潔に日時を含めて 書き出しておきましょう

If a dog bites you and does not break the skin

犬に噛まれたが、皮膚の損傷がない場合

Call 311 and provide: アニマルサービス311 に 報告しましょう。

• A clear description of dog (if possible)Dog owner's name and address.

• 噛んだ犬の特徴、(出来れば) 犬の飼い主の名前、住所
• Date, time and location where the bite occurred

• 噛まれた日時、場所

• Witness information, if possible

• (出来れば)証明できる人の情報 

If you are the owner of a dog that has bitten:

• Leash your dog and isolate it from causing further threats
• 二次的な事件が起きないよう、リーシュにつないで、隔離しましょう。
• Provide your contact information to the victim

• 被害者に自分の情報を開示しましょう。
• Make clear, concise notes of the incident in your own handwriting
• 出来事の詳細を自筆で書きましょう。

• If the person's skin has been broken, isolate your dog until contacted by Public Health

• もし、被害者皮膚負傷させた場合は、保健所から連絡が来るまで犬を隔離しましょう。

• If necessary, consult an expert about your dog's behaviour
• 必要ならば、犬のビヘイビアリストに相談しましょう。

What happens next?

Toronto Public Health will:

• Initiate an animal to human exposure investigation
• Contact the person who has been bitten to take a Rabies Exposure Report
• Contact the dog owner (if known) and issue an order to confide and isolate the animal

Know the City's Animal Bylaws

• License your dog or cat. The Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 349, requires that all dogs and cats owned in the City of Toronto must be licensed and wearing a tag. By licensing your dog or cat, Animal Services will make every effort to reunite you with your pet if it gets lost.

• The maximum numbers of pets that you can own is six cats and three dogs.
• 一般家庭で保有できる数は定められています。(生猫 6ひき、成犬 3-5ひき)
• Pick up after your pet on private and public property.
• 公共の場、私有地問わず、糞の始末をしましょう。
• Your dog must be kept on a leash no more than two metres long. You must be holding onto the leash - leashing your dog to a pole or bike rack is not allowed.
• 2メートル以内のリーシュにつなぎ、リーシュを持っていなくてはいけません。また、ポールや バイクラックに犬をつないでおくのは 禁止されています。
• On private property, you cannot use a rope or chain less than three metres long.
• 私有地内で 3メートル以下のロープや チェーンに 犬を繋ぐのは禁止されています。
• The owner of a dog is liable for a bite on another person or animal.  See What to do when a dog bites.  もしあなたの犬が 他人や 他の動物を噛んだら、あなたにその責任が問われます。
• If your dog is continuously barking or whining and disturbing your neighbours, you can be fined under the Noise Bylaw.
• もし、あなたの犬が 吠え続けるなどして 近所に迷惑を かけたら、騒音/法律の下、罰金が言い渡されます。
